Looking for the best Warzone loadout for Pacific Season 1? With all the new Vanguard guns now in Warzone, the new meta is well and truly developing. The new weapons should beef up the potential choices for dropping into Caldera, but there’s a lot from which to choose.
There’s a long list of the best Warzone guns now to try, so you’re really spoilt for choice. With Warzone Pacific, there’s a great deal of change compared to our last tier list, so here are ten of the best Warzone loadouts, including attachments, perks, and throwables.
Best Warzone loadout: The best setups for Pacific Season 1
STG44 & OTs 9
STG44
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B
- Optic: Zeiss G16 2.5x
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Stock: VDD 27 Precision
- Magazine: 8mm Kurz 45 Round Drum
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Grip: Stippled Grip
- Proficiency: Vital
- Kit: Surplus
The STG44 is up there with the best guns from the Vanguard integration. It’s an excellent gun with a huge amount of versatility, whether you want to kit it out for ultra range or versatility. It’s an early unlock, and like the rest of the Vanguard weapons, you can put ten attachments on it, allowing for extra opportunities to fiddle around.
Check out my best STG44 Warzone loadout page if you fancy a bit more specific information.
OTs 9
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 8.1” Task Force
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
- Ammunition: Spetsnaz 40 Rnd
The OTs 9 is a real treat. As a close-range powerhouse, it’s been a seriously-reliable SMG since its introduction back in the days of Season 4 Reloaded. It’s a close-range beast that managed to miss out on a series of SMG nerfs, and it’s stayed near the top of the sub-machine meta since. I’ve put together a handy page with all the best OTs 9 Warzone loadouts, so give that a look if you fancy trying it out.
Automaton & MAC-10
Automaton
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Anastasia Sniper
- Optic: ZF4 3.5x Rifle Scope
- Stock: Anastasia Padded
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 6.5MM Sakura 75 Round Drums
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Grip: Pine Tar Grip
- Perk: Tight Grip
- Perk 2: Surplus
The Automaton is another top-tier gun from Vanguard. Bring it into Caldera and make the preceding attachments, and you’ll be in command of an assault rifle with a bafflingly low level of recoil. It’s a real laser beam, and combined with a good SMG you’ll be in a really good place everywhere on the map.
Check out my best Automaton Warzone loadout list if you want to learn more about how to best use this weapon.
MAC-10
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 5.9″ Task Force
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum
The MAC-10 is still here. Its recoil is extremely difficult to deal with, but with the time-to-kill value it has, your enemies won’t stand a chance when you’re right up in their faces. Switch to it when you’re a little too close for comfort with the Automaton and enjoy.
It’s a tricky gun to use, but with our best MAC-10 Warzone loadout you’ll be absolutely shredding baddies’ armour with ease.
NZ-41 & Milano
NZ-41
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Orbweaver 360mm BC
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: Orbweaver Elite
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strafe Angled
- Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 45 Round Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
- Perk 1: Brace
- Perk 2: Surplus
Are you ihn the mood for a maximum-range monster of a gun? The NZ-41 assault rifle, with the MX Silencer and Orbweaver 360mm BC barrel, is kitted out for chucking firepower downrange like an LMG. It’s amost effective when you catch an enemy in an open field and fire with your laser-beam accuracy and magnifying lens. It’s a hefty weapon, but well worth the low mobility.
If you want some more detailed info, check out my best NZ-41 Warzone loadout.
Milano
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 10.5″ Ranger
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Optic: Hawksmoor (or other red dot sight)
- Ammunition: STANAG 55 Round Drum
The Milano is a delight. When it’s buffed, I rejoice. When nerfs hit, I wail so loudly it could be heard from the heavens. Seriously though, the Milano is in a solid place, with some pretty good ranged potential for an SMG. When the NZ-41 does a great job at long range, the Milano has you covered everywhere else.
Bren & TEC-9
Bren
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Queen’s 775m Scepter
- Optic: ZF4 3.5x Scope
- Stock: Queen’s Model 11 BH
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
- Magazine: .303 British 100 Round Drums
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Grooved Grip
- Perk: Sleight of Hand
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
Remember the old days of the Mk9 Bruen ruling the meta? Want a versatile LMG that does a brilliant job at long ranges? Well, the Bren is the weapon for you. It boasts a giant, beefy barrel, a big ol’ magazine, and you can even use Sleight of Hand to avoid losing out on too many valuable seconds when reloading your LMG.
So here are the best Bren Warzone loadouts for your perusal.
TEC-9
- Muzzle: Full Auto Repeater
- Barrel: 4.9″ Task Force
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Ammunition: STANAG 48 Rnd
The TEC-9 is a bit of an oddball when it comes to Warzone SMGs. Its different muzzle attachments change its time-to-kill values, so you’ll need to choose very carefully. The fastest TTK comes with the full-auto barrel, despite the fact that it deals the lowest damage. This is thanks to the TEC-9’s super-speedy rate of fire.
If you’re looking for something unique, give it a go: here are my ideas for a solid TEC-9 Warzone loadout.
Swiss K31 & AK-47 (CW)
Swiss K31
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 24.9” Combat Recon
- Laser: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Rear Grip: Serpent Grip
The Swiss K31 is now one of the best aggressive sniper rifles in Warzone. Despite previously falling shy of the Kar98k when it comes to popularity in Verdansk, now we’re in Caldera for Warzone Pacific, the Swiss has well and truly claimed its place in the meta. Check out my best Swiss K31 Warzone loadout guide for some more info and a few tips.
AK-47 (CW)
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 15.5” Ultralight
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Speedgrip
- Ammunition: Bakelite 60 Rnd
The AK-47 is effective at most ranges, but you’d be surprised how well it performs from close up. With this loadout, the Cold War AK has a surprisingly fast strafe and movement speed thanks to the Ultralight barrel and KGB Skeletal Stock, so give it a go alongside a speedy sniper like the Swiss and you’ll have a brilliant time. I have some more tips over here in my best AK-47 Warzone loadout page, too, so give them a look if you fancy.
DP27 & Bullfrog
DP27
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 604mm
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Optic: 3.5x Rifle Scope
- Magazine: 7.62x54MMR 105 Round Pans
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Grip: Polymer Grip
- Stock: ZAC S2M
- Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
- Kit: Fully Loaded
With the bizarre look to the 7.62x54MMR 105 Round Pans ammunition capacity, the DP27 is a really unique gun for the LMG category. It’s an LMG, but one that can be built to be slightly more lightweight than traditional guns of that category, so it’s well worth a try.
Bullfrog
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 7.4″ Task Force
- Optic: Millstop Reflex
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Ammunition: 65 Rnd
The Bullfrog remains up there as a top SMG. Ever since it entered the meta its role hasn’t really shifted a great deal, which is perfect for those of us who hate change. It pairs perfectly with the DP27. With a big magazine capacity and some impressive range stats for a submachine gun, this one is great to switch to while you run around indoors or to follow up on shots if you run out of ammunition in your primary weapon.
If you fancy a bit more advice, check out my best Bullfrog Warzone loadout guide.
Krig 6 & PPSh-41 (V)
Krig 6
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 19.7″ Ranger
- Optic: SUSAT Multizoom
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd
If you’re on the hunt for an AR with high accuracy and low recoil the Krig 6 won’t let you down. It’s worth calling in your personal loadout drop to benefit from the range buffs in this setup, especially the Ranger barrel and Field Agent Grip. Remember, though: This all comes at the cost of mobility, so be sure to find some cover before engaging with another squad.
And here my favourite Krig 6 Warzone loadouts.
PPSh-41 (V)
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: Empress 140mm Rapid
- Optic: Nydar Model 47
- Stock: Kovalevskaya Skeletal
- Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
- Magazine: 7.62mm Gorenko 71 Round Mags
- Ammunition: FMJ Rounds
- Rear Grip: Fabric Rear Grip
- Perk: Steady
- Perk 2: Quick
The Vanguard PPSh-41 is utterly destructive at close range. With the Recoil Booster and Empress 140mm Rapid barrel, you have a disgustingly-fast fire rate with a 71-round magazine. It’s a killing machine at close range, and it’s no surprise it’s been one of the most popular weapons since the Vanguard integration with Warzone Pacific.
Prefer the Vanguard version like us? Here are the best PPSh-41 Warzone loadouts.
C58 & MP40
C58
- Muzzle: Suppressor
- Barrel: 18.5” Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd
- Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap
The C58 has done a fantastic job since it entered the meta in Season 4. It’s a great weapon for long-range engagements and a reliable option for Warzone Pacific. Check out my comprehensive C58 Warzone loadout guide for more information on how to run this weapon, but what you really need to know is this: it’s a versatile weapon that’ll serve you extremely well.
MP-40
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: Krausnick 317MM 04B
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: VDD 35 M Wire Grip
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 8mm Kurz 32 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Proficiency: Brace
- Kit: Quick
I’m a big fan of the MP-40, one of the first SMGs you unlock in Warzone Pacific. This loadout offers a combination of close-range strength and accuracy across middle distances. As soon as you’re out of C58 range, switch to the MP-40 and start taking advantage of your mobility and fast time-to-kill.
QBZ-83 & Sykov
QBZ-83
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 15.5″ Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd Drum
- Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap
Back in the day, the QBZ-83 used to have such an atrocious time-to-kill that it was completely pointless to use in Warzone. With its pathetic damage and less-than-stellar handling, it was just unviable. Now, though, the QBZ-83 makes up for its shortcomings and then some. Nerfs to high-damage guns mean its huge accuracy potential actually does a job in Caldera, especially if you build it correctly. Take a look at my best QBZ-83 Warzone loadouts if you want to know more.
Sykov (Single)
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Sorokin 140mm Auto
- Laser: Tac Laser
- Ammunition: 80 Round Drums
- Rear Grip: VLK Prizrak
The Sykov pistol isn’t quite as potent as it was when it was first released, but it’s still worth saving a spot for it, especially if you want to use it as a true secondary and run a perk like Ghost or Restock. Now that we’re over dual-wielding it using the Akimbo perk, we can focus on its single build. It’s an aggressive little firearm that deals impressive damage. Equip its whopping 80 Round Drums to take full advantage of its stellar fire rate. These are the best Sykov Warzone loadouts if you want to explore alternative setups.
Kar98k (V) & EM2
Kar98k (V)
- Muzzle: SD Silencer
- Barrel: Krausnick 560mm LWS03K
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Short Stock
- Underbarrel: Heavy Foregrip
- Magazine: None
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Perk: Quickscope
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
This ain’t the Kar98k you know. This is the one from Vanguard. Sure, you’re probably used to the Warzone Kar98k from Modern Warfare, with its amazing scope speed and ridiculous mobility for a sniper, but if you grab the Vanguard variant, you’ll start to fall in love with it, especially if you deck it out for quick-scoping.
EM2
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 25.8″ Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd
The EM2, added to Warzone with Season 5, has cemented itself as a real contender early on, with strong damage and a fast time-to-kill provided you can hit your shots with that low fire rate.
It can be used reliably as a sniper-support weapon, so I’d recommend checking out my best EM2 Warzone loadouts if you want to learn a bit more.
Perks
Want a full lowdown on Warzone’s perks? Well, if this isn’t enough information, check out my handy primer on the best Warzone perks.
If you just want an overview, read on.
E.O.D
E.O.D reduces the damage you take from non-killstreak explosives and fire, making it a popular choice for most loadouts. There are other options, but for the most part you’ll have your life saved by this perk more often than not.
Cold Blooded
While not as useful when the meta isn’t filled with thermal scopes like it was when Warzone first released, Cold Blooded is really handy in a Combat Scout world. It completely negates the effect of it, which really helps in tight firefights.
Overkill
If you want to run two primary weapons in your loadout, you need the Overkill perk. All other Tier-2 perks should come after this one, unless you’ve got very lucky with ground loot.
Ghost
If you’re happy to head into Verdansk with a handgun or launcher, it’s worth doing so for the Ghost perk. You’ll find a Heartbeat Sensor in most players’ Tactical slots, and this perk makes sure you’re undetectable by Heartbeat Sensors, UAVs, and Radar Drones.
Amped
Amped is useful in almost every single class in Warzone. If you’re not using a pistol, that fast weapon swap speed is extremely important and can absolutely change gunfights in your favour. Getting that extra few frames to start shooting your secondary is often a life-and-death situation, and Amped has saved the skin of many a player.
Combat Scout
Only added in Season 5, Combat Scout is an absolutely amazing perk. It highlights enemies through walls when you shoot them, as well as briefly live-pinging them on your map for your teammates to see. No matter how good you are at communication, this is going to help you a ridiculous amount.
Lethal & Tactical
Lethal: Thermite/C4/Semtex
Thermite is currently the meta choice, and it’s easy to understand why. It’s perfect for finishing off injured opponents quickly. If you’re not a fan, C4 is a good alternative. This explosive can also be tossed on roofs to take out multiple squad members at once. That said, I prefer using a Semtex as it’s easier to throw it at moving targets.
Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor/Stun Grenades
Verdansk is a large map, and even when you’re skulking around indoors it can be very difficult to locate your enemies. Sniffing out the competition is much easier with the help of the Heartbeat Sensor, which also happens to be the best Tactical in Warzone. Just remember: Enemies with Ghost won’t show up, so keep an ear out for footsteps, too.
Stun Grenades are a bit more of a tricksy choice, and are absolutely amazing for when you know someone’s lurking in a room. Just chuck a stunner and the enemy won’t be able to land a shot before you’ve downed them. Just remember – you only get a maximum of two of them, so make it count.
