PS Plus Premium Adds Another Game Trial

Members in the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus can now download a full game trial for DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters. PS Plus Premium subscribers get some notable benefits over the Extra tier, as users in this category can download and play select PS1, PS2, and PSP games.

Additionally, Premium members can download full game trials for a selection of titles, allowing them to play these games for a limited time. This period usually differs between games, with some titles offering a trial of up to five hours, while others let users play for just one or two. Now, Sony has quietly added DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters to the lineup of time-limited trials available to PS Plus Premium members.

As reported by Push Square, gamers in the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus can download a full game trial for DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters for up to an hour. DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters is a brand-new game, as it just came out on April 14, 2023, on various platforms. The gameplay in DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters appears to be a mixture of puzzles, stealth, and platforming in a minimalistic, voxel-based world. Fans interested in purchasing the game should note that it’s priced at $19.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Sony sometimes adds these trials without much fanfare, and the same appears to be true in the case of DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters. Even though this trial only offers an hour of gameplay, it’s probably enough to form an opinion of the game and make a purchase-related decision. Longer trials are generally reserved for extremely story-heavy games like Persona 5 Royal and Cyberpunk 2077, while other titles usually offer two to three hours of game time.

Sony has announced the list of games coming to PS Plus Extra in April 2023, confirming that Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, The Evil Within, Slay the Spire, Riders Republic, and more will soon join the catalog. PS Plus Premium users will get access to even more Bethesda games, such as Doom, Doom 2, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition among others.

While Extra and Premium users have to wait for a few days to play these games, all PS Plus subscribers can now download the free monthly games for April 2023. Members can play Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron at no extra cost, with Sackboy also coming to PS Plus Extra when the catalog refreshes this month.
