Pokemon Fan Shares Swablu Paradox Form With an Amusing Inspiration

A creative fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has just shared their design concept of a Paradox form for the Normal/Flying-type Pokemon Swablu. Using the sci-fi themes of the future Paradox forms in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the artist’s version of Swablu is inspired by a well-known conspiracy theory that fellow fans may find interesting.

Ever since Paradox forms were introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the game’s player base has constantly been producing original fanart of popular pocket creatures in the special form. New designs and concepts both for Ancient and Future Paradox Pokemon regularly get shared online, which many fellow fans likely appreciate and enjoy. With over 1,000 Pokemon found across the franchise, fans will probably continue to see different designs of Paradox forms, especially since artists have a lot of material to work with.

To showcase the Paradox form of Gen 3’s Normal/Flying-type Swablu that they created, Redditor HertzBurst shared several images with fellow fans on the platform. Naming the Pokemon “Iron Spy,” the artist was inspired by drones to create the overall shape of the Pokemon. The community will likely appreciate that the Pokemon’s bird-like features were still retained by the artist, but it’s fluffy white wings have been replaced by iconic drone rotors. What’s more, the flavor text that the artist wrote references the popular conspiracy theory that birds are not real and are actually used to spy on unsuspecting citizens.

Fellow fans of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet seem to have nothing but praise for HertzBurst’s future Paradox Swablu. One even mentioned that they appreciated how the artist chose to make these special forms for pocket creatures that are not really that popular. Other comments seemed to also appreciate the Redditor’s conspiracy theory inspiration, playing along with the reference and sharing their thoughts about how it is connected to the future Paradox form. The artist also mentioned that they used the 3D program Blender to produce such a quality-looking concept art piece.

This is not the first time that HertzBurst has conceptualized Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Paradox forms for the pocket creatures. They have also created interesting designs for Pokemon such as Pikachu, Sudowoodo, Magikarp, and more. Hopefully they continue to be inspired to produce more of these designs, especially since they make such high-quality and unique pieces. Many within the player base will surely like to see more of their original artwork in the future.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for the Nintendo Switch.
