Genshin Impact Barbara Glitch Gets Player Stuck In Spiral Abyss Domain

A Genshin Impact player has encountered a very unusual bug that made them stuck in the Spiral Abyss even after it was cleared out. The Spiral Abyss is a special kind of domain that has 12 floors, each of which is more difficult than the previous one. Every floor has three chambers that feature different enemies.

After finishing a Spiral Abyss floor, Genshin Impact players are rewarded with up to three stars that can be used to unlock precious rewards including Primogems. With the game’s world constantly expanding, it does not come as a surprise that players often run into various glitches that can affect their Spiral Abyss performance.

Reddit user JackfruitNatural5474 has shared an interesting video that shows them getting stuck in the Spiral Abyss domain after the challenge was completed. This is a common bug that occurs when players have the Hydro user Baraba in their team composition. Barbara is known in the community for causing more glitches than any other character on the roster. Back in 3.0 when the Dendro element was introduced, a bug allowed Barbara to constantly trigger the Bloom elemental reaction which made her the strongest support for a couple of weeks. When in contact with a Dendro core, her elemental skill Let The Show Begin would create additional cores until all enemies are defeated. It was eventually patched in the next update.

In the video, she’s placed in a team composition that revolves around the same elemental reaction which can be triggered by combining Dendro with Hydro. This will cause small Dendro cores to drop on the ground and explode after a few seconds. The Redditor uses two free-to-play characters, Collei, and the Traveler, for their Dendro application. At the moment, the Dendro Traveler is probably the best version of Genshin Impact‘s main character.

The most important part of this team is the Hydro user Nilou since her kit is designed for the Bloom reaction. The effect of one of her passive talents changes the Dendro cores into Bountiful cores with a much larger AoE and a shorter cooldown. Players who want to add Nilou to their roster won’t have to wait for much longer since recent leaks revealed that she could receive a re-run in the next update,

Nilou is expected to be placed on the first banner cycle of Genshin Impact update 3.6 alongside the Dendro user Nahida. The Sumeru Archon is probably the strongest Dendro support in the game.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
