A Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player uses Ultrahand to build Master Hand from the Super Smash Bros. series. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduced Ultrahand to Link’s ability library, and fans are making incredible things like this Super Smash Bros. villain.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom continues to hit sales milestones as it acts as a console seller like its predecessors. Numerous Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom builds have been shared since the game was released. Among these creations are a Republic Gunship inspired by Star Wars, different types of aircraft, and mechs. Although Super Smash Bros. hasn’t been represented in past Legend of Zelda titles like the Chain Chomp from Super Mario in Link’s Awakening, this player found a way to realize it with Ultrahand.
Reddit user Divlogue recently shared a clip of their Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Master Hand creation. The clip begins with the player carefully placing the hand inspired by Super Smash Bros. in the air before using Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Recall ability to keep it there. Immediately after using recall, the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player fires an arrow at the bottom platform to activate the Master Hand. Upon being powered on, the Tears of the Kingdom Master Hand replica wiggles its fingers which are made of small wheels. According to Divlogue, these finger movements were prioritized over Master Hand’s abilities due to the limitations of Ultrahand.
Shooting a target in the palm of the Master Hand, the creation falls back to the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Hyrule landscape. Removing the floating platform, Divlogue has also shared a clip of their build crawling around on the ground. Combining the footage shows that Divlogue’s Master Hand can also act like Super Smash Bros‘ Crazy Hand. The creation may further reflect Master Hand by adopting one of its abilities like the finger lasers which could be replicated with beam emitters. The only thing in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that can compare to Master Hand are the Gloom Hands that can be found in various locations around Hyrule and The Depths.
It’s currently unclear how long it took Divlogue to make this version of Super Smash Bros‘ Master Hand. Because Divlogue’s Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom build is full of moving parts, copying it would likely require a lot of time. While they’ve shared multiple clips of the hand, the creation process hasn’t been revealed to help others replicate it.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
