Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Player Builds a Barbeque in the Most Unlikely Place

As players continue to find new ways to have fun in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one player decided to create a barbeque in a location that cannot be easily reached. The player posted a video of their grill on social media, where other Tears of the Kingdom players commended them for not only building the barbeque but for hosting it in the location they chose.

In Tears of the Kingdom, players have taken advantage of Link’s new abilities to create new ways to play the game, overcome challenges, and have a laugh at some of the creations that have taken social media by storm. In some cases, the creations that players have shared range from flying machines to elaborate contraptions for a specific purpose. In the case of one player, they decided to take Link’s cooking game to the next level by building a grill in an unlikely but appropriate setting.

On Twitter, a user named yukino_san_14 posted a 21-second video of their barbeque grill that they placed on the horns of a great dragon flying above the skies of Hyrule. The dragon in question was Dinraal, the fire dragon that is usually seen flying around the northern parts of the Eldin and Akkala regions. Following their impressive takedown of a gleeok in a previous Tears of the Kingdom video, yukino_san_14 chose to relax with some surf-and-turf atop Dinraal’s head. In the video, they used Link’s Autobuild ability to make a grill that would not only protect Link from the dragon’s flames but smoke the meat at the same time without falling off.

The end result was several tasty meals that yukino_san_14 could use to heal Link when the need arises. To further protect Link from any mishaps during the barbeque, yukino_san_14 equipped the Goron Boots for some added Fire Resistance as Dinraal flew close to Death Mountain and the surrounding lava pools. The video was seen over 77,000 times on Twitter in just over a day, and other Tears of the Kingdom players expressed their shock in the replies. However, one user complimented yukino_san_14 for using both meat and fish in roughly equal portions and added that vegetables would have likely been burnt on contact. Another user thanked the OP for their creative use of Dinraal’s flames.

Thanks to Link’s Autobuild ability in Tears of the Kingdom, players have continued to share the many ways they play the game. With the game approaching one month on the market, it remains to be seen what else players will create next.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now for Nintendo Switch.
