Xbox Game Pass is Losing 5 Games on June 15

At the middle and end of every month, a select few games are removed from Xbox Game Pass. The last batch of May 2022 games was removed today, including EA Sports NHL 20, Farming Simulator 19, Knockout City, Resident Evil 7, Spellforce 3: Soul Harvest, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, and Yes, Your Grace.

Now, Xbox Game Pass has announced a few games coming to and exiting the service in May 2022. It has confirmed a total of six games between June 2 and June 9, with more likely to be added leading up to the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. These six games are For Honor: Marching Fire Edition, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Chorus, Disc Room, and Spacelines From Far Out. On June 15, a few days after the aforementioned showcase, there will be five games leaving the service.

The Xbox Game Pass games leaving on June 15 include the following:

  • Darkest Dungeon (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Greedfall (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Limbo (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Worms Rumble (Cloud, Console, and PC)

As always, anyone who wants to keep these games for good can buy them now (or before June 15) at a discount of up to 20% to keep them permanently. Otherwise, players can also try to beat these Xbox Game Pass games before they are removed. Most of these games will require some elbow grease to get that done, but one or two of them are certainly possible. Worms Rumble is a multiplayer game, so checking that out wouldn’t take long, and Limbo is extremely short.

Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, a game where players take on the role of classic characters such as Drizz’t, Cattie-Brier, Wulfgar, or Bruenor Battlehammer, takes about 10-15 hours to beat, so it’s not a hard one either. However, Darkest Dungeon is a serious investment, and GreedFall is no slouch either, taking about 55 and 25 hours to beat respectively.

Moreover, it should be noted that GreedFall may be one worth picking up with the sale. Developer Spiders and Publisher Nacon recently announced Greedfall 2: The Dying World, which is set to release in 2024. The first game has a ton of replayability to it, so if someone checks it out, likes it, and buys it, they’ll get it at a discount ahead of the sequel.

Either way, Xbox Game Pass subscribers have two weeks until these games are removed, so if they were thinking about playing them, now’s the time.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a handful of games every month.
