Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Reveals Glutton’s Gamble DLC

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands reveals the second content drop available via its season pass, bringing a new villain, new enemies, and more loot to collect.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is the latest game in the Borderlands franchise and is a spin-off giving fans the traditional looting and shooting of the series mixed in with some fantasy elements heavily inspired by roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has been a major success according to publisher Take-Two, and the company may even be looking to make the fantasy-shooter into a franchise. First, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has plenty of content to give out to players, as shown by a reveal trailer for the most recent DLC called Glutton’s Gamble.

Glutton’s Gamble is the second of four drops promised by the developers of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands for those who have purchased the game’s season pass. The first DLC for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was Coiled Captors, which pitted players against new enemies known as Coiled, eventually leading up to a boss fight against a god. Glutton’s Gamble introduces Imelda the Sand Witch. Imelda, as can be guessed by the name of the DLC, has an insatiable hunger that will grant players challenges every week to gather ingredients.

It’s not explicitly stated how these ingredients will work or whether Imelda is a villain, but it seems from the trailer that players will eventually have to face her as a boss. Alongside the introduction of Imelda, some new enemies will also be coming to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands as part of the Glutton’s Gamble DLC. These enemies range from some new skeletal spellcasters to hilarious skeletons dressed up with gingerbread and other pieces of food around their bodies.

As with most Borderlands DLCs, Glutton’s Gamble will bring some new loot to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Loot is a major aspect of any Borderlands game, as it is one part of the looting and shooting formula the series has become famous for. New guns are shown off in the trailer, but no stats are given on them as yet. From sheer design, the new guns do appear to be interesting and will likely help take down Imelda towards the DLC’s conclusion.

So far, a new DLC has been released for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands each month since it released. Coiled Captors came out in April, and now Glutton’s Gamble graces players in May. This could mean that another content drop will be coming in June, but it is currently unknown whether Gearbox has a specific plan for the timing of its drops or not. Alongside the Glutton’s Gamble DLC, a recent update has been released for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands that has caused some players to lose their campaign progress.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Glutton’s Gamble is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
