According to a known Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaker on social media, a potential Paradox form of Entei may have an underwhelming appearance when compared to its counterparts. In response to the leaker, some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans questioned what that could mean, and asked what potential designs Paradox Entei could have.
Known as the Volcano Pokemon, Entei is one of the three Legendary Beasts of Johto and made its debut in Pokemon Gold and Silver for the Game Boy. Due to its popularity with Pokemon fans at the time, the fiery Entei was also the focus of Pokemon 3: The Movie, which is considered one of the top Pokemon anime films to date. However, Entei is currently in a strange position as the first DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Teal Mask, prepares to launch. Between the previous arrival of Walking Wake, the past Paradox form of Suicune, and the upcoming release of Raging Bolt, the past Paradox form of Raikou in The Indigo Disk, Entei has no known Paradox form at the time of writing. However, a Pokemon leaker claimed to know what Paradox Entei may look like.
On Twitter, known Pokemon leaker CentroLeaks tweeted that Paradox Entei would look “boring” when compared to Walking Wake and Raging Bolt. While CentroLeaks refused to elaborate further about Paradox Entei, they also claimed that a Paradox form of Terrakion would look very different compared to Iron Leaves and Iron Crown, the respective future Paradox forms of Virizion and Cobalion. Given the fact that Walking Wake and Raging Bolt have designs similar to a velociraptor and a sauropod respectively, it stands to reason that Paradox Entei would also have an appearance similar to a dinosaur.
The leak was posted just as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers prepared their teams for The Teal Mask DLC. In the replies to CentroLeaks’ tweet, some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players speculated that Paradox Entei could be based on a triceratops or an ankylosaur, which would keep Entei as a quadruped. However, the “boring” design for Paradox Entei may dampen the hopes of Pokemon trainers who speculated it could be based on the pterodactyl instead.
Until the Paradox form of Entei is officially revealed in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, all leaks and rumors are to be taken with a fine pinch of salt. Only time will tell what the Legendary Pokemon Entei will look like in Paradox form.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
