Original Naruto Anime To Receive New Episodes

Naruto is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its anime by releasing four new episodes. The announcement was made on the official website of the Naruto anime. The new four episodes will air in September. In July, certain episodes of the anime will be rerun on television. Studio Pierrot previously released a ten-minute-long video that contained a lot of new footage. The official Twitter account for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations also revealed new visuals for the anime.

At the moment, the official accounts have not disclosed any further information about the new episodes. The Naruto anime is based on the manga series written by Masashi Kishimoto. It is among the biggest franchises in the world, and it includes multiple anime movies, video games, novels, and spin-offs. The original anime began airing in 2002 and ended in 2007. It had a total of 220 episodes, which covered the protagonist’s early life.

Naruto Shippuden premiered in 2007 and finished in 2017, bringing an end to an epic tale. Naruto Shippuden has 500 episodes, more than twice the number of the original anime. Unfortunately, most of these episodes are fillers, which seriously damaged the reputation of the series. The Naruto franchise has a total of 26 novels, and each of them offers more insight into the lives of certain characters in the series. When it comes to movies, the Naruto series has eleven theatrical releases, and almost all of them have been extremely successful.

The creators decided to launch Boruto: Naruto Next Generations in 2016 because of the massive demand for the series. The manga started serializing monthly in the Weekly Shonen Jump, and it was transferred to V Jump Magazine in 2019. Originally, Ukyō Kodachi wrote the series, but after stepping down, Kishimoto took over his position.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations released an anime adaptation in April 2017. Since then, the anime has aired over 200 episodes, which have received mixed reviews from the audience. Recently, it was announced that Boruto Part I will be ending on March 26, and Part II is already in the works.

Naruto follows the adventures of a young boy named Naruto Uzumaki, who dreams of becoming the Hokage. Despite being only a kid, Naruto is treated as an outcast by most of the villagers. However, he doesn’t let their jibes get to his head. Naruto continues to work hard, and eventually, he is acknowledged by the entire world. Throughout his journey, Naruto faces many strong opponents who help him grow, both physically and mentally.
