New Call of Duty: Warzone Exploit Is Letting Players Farm Ammo

A frustrating new Call of Duty: Warzone bug is allowing players to farm an endless amount of ammunition for their weaponry in Caldera.

Most of the recent Call of Duty: Warzone bugs have been entirely negative, with textures being ruined or players being sent to the Gulag early. However, one bug is serving as an infinite ammo exploit for Call of Duty: Warzone, giving any players willing to use it an unfair advantage.

Recently, an infinite ammo exploit for the Type 11 was found, allowing players to refill the gun’s magazines simply by swapping to their secondary weapon. Thankfully, Raven Software recently patched this glitch, stopping players from using the exploit to endlessly fire their Type 11s. However, just a week after Raven solved the previous infinite ammo problem, another has been found – and it is even more problematic than the last.

While the Type 11 bug was annoying, the downside to the exploit was that it was only effective for certain weapons. Since Call of Duty: Warzone players were essentially just re-filling their magazine by swapping guns at a specific moment, the bug would not work with any piece of ground found on Caldera. The latest bug is far more severe, however, as players can acquire ammunition for any weapon. Even worse, the exploit showcased by Reddit user AlexandruMacedon can be pulled off with numerous guns from Call of Duty: Vanguard.

As shown in the post’s title, players can essentially farm ammo with ease, eliminating the loot process from their Call of Duty: Warzone matches. In less than thirty seconds, the player manages to create 1050 Assault Rifle and LMG rounds, getting their squad fully stocked on ammo ahead of any potential gunfights. While it would make sense if an ammo generating exploit took a lot of effort to pull off, this bug is shockingly easy to do, as all Call of Duty: Warzone players need is a Vanguard weapon with the Fully Loaded Perk.

Fully Loaded is meant to provide players with more ammo whenever they pick up a gun, instantly filling up a player’s inventory with more bullets. As shown in the clip, though, this can be done endlessly and is not limited to loadout drops or held to a single use per weapon. The player can simply keep dropping the weapon and picking it up, generating more and more ammo for their team. Obviously, this bug is one that Raven Software should prioritize, as players will have no reason to worry about ammo when they get to the final circle – something that has always served as a challenging aspect of battle royale titles.

While other Call of Duty: Warzone glitches like the N64 bug and demon textures are infuriating, this exploit has the capability to get out of hand fast. If the video from AlexandruMacedon takes off, players could start using this trick in every one of their matches.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
