New Atlus Video Showcases Inside Of Persona 25th Anniversary Exhibit

Fans of Atlus’s JRPG series Persona were likely anticipating major announcements in 2022, given that the franchise marked its 25th year in 2021. True enough, Atlus shared a variety of Persona 25th anniversary announcements starting from late last year, which included a live concert, pop-up stores and events, new merchandise, and more. One of the biggest news the company shared was the exclusive exhibit being held to celebrate the occasion. And recently, Atlus posted a short video that gave fans an inside look at the Persona 25th anniversary exhibit.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Though Atlus did not announce a new Persona title to add to the series, the fanbase likely felt a new type of excitement when news broke out that Persona 3, 4, and 5 is being ported to PC and Xbox platform during the recent 2022 Xbox and Bethesda showcase. The Japanese company also confirmed later on that these titles will be available via Steam, and on consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and 5. This allows players to have their pick of platforms to play the JRPG series on.

On the official Japanese Twitter account of Persona, a short video was recently shared by the team that showed off what the 25th anniversary exhibit looks like inside. Though the official website shares photos of the sights to see inside the event, the recorded footage offers a more dynamic view of the exhibit’s features. Fans will likely enjoy seeing iconic locations in the series, which includes the unforgettable Persona Velvet Room, Persona 5‘s Cafe Leblanc, Persona 3‘s Iwatodai Dormitory common room, and more.

In the Persona 25th anniversary event exhibit, fans will also see several statues featuring the main Personas such as Thanatos, Izanagi, and Arsene. Figures of Persona 4 and 5 mascots, Teddy and Morgana, are also featured. Other rooms focus on series artwork, character uniforms, and the shop where fans can purchase official merchandise. Unfortunately, the event is located in Tokorozawa Sakura Town, in Japan’s Saitama Prefecture, and will only be open for a limited time.

There is no news if Atlus has any plans of bringing the Persona exhibit out of Japan any time soon. Given that Japan still has very strict travel restrictions for international visitors, Western fans of the Persona series may have to wait for Atlus to consider a global tour of the exhibit. Those interested in the exclusive event merch may have to find a proxy shopping service or wait for updates on the official Atlus worldwide online shop to get their hands on the items.
