Marvel’s Avengers Adding Black Widow’s Avengers: Infinity War Outfit

Marvel’s Avengers announces the latest skin cosmetic from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Black Widow’s incognito Avengers: Infinity War outfit.

Marvel’s Avengers has just given fans an update on when they can expect future content to be shown. With a vague, early 2022 window for Marvel’s Avengers‘ next content roadmap, however, it may be a while until the game’s next events and updates are revealed.

That said, it seems as though Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix’s present updates and cosmetic contributions have not been put on hold for the rest of the holiday season, as it may have been insinuated earlier from their announcement of a much-needed holiday break until the new year. Rather, Crystal Dynamics has just recently announced that it is set to debut another Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired skin for one of Marvel’s Avengers‘ three female characters.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Marvel’s Avengers‘ latest MCU-inspired outfit is the blonde-haired Natasha Romanoff’s unique, tactical attire from Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Avengers: Infinity War brings about some of the MCU’s most diverse or starkly variant appearances for many of its characters, and Black Widow’s is further evidence of that with a distinctly blonde bob cut and a padded vest. For many characters in Avengers: Infinity War these distinguished looks signify character development following Captain America: Civil War (2016) and the Avengers’ fallout.

But Black Widow’s Avengers: Infinity War outfit is given even more significance in Natasha’s standalone movie, Black Widow (2021), where it is revealed that the multi-pocketed vest she wears was given to her by her sister, Yelena Belova. Natasha’s blonde hair in Avengers: Infinity War is also a nod to Yelena as Black Widow gives context to Natasha, Steve Rogers, and Sam Wilson going rogue before the events of Avengers: Infinity War.

Blonde hair is not revolutionary for Black Widow’s skin cosmetics in Marvel’s Avengers. However, this entire outfit and what it represents for her character, as well as it being a highly distinct outfit from the MCU, is sure to please many fans of both the movie and its adaptation into Marvel’s Avengers.

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases this week in theatres and many fans expect to see new MCU cosmetics drop into the Marketplace associated to one or more of the four distinct suits that Peter Parker wears in the movie. Further, fans continue to wait for Marvel’s Avengers‘ skins for Kate Bishop and Clint Barton based upon the purple-and-black garb that they have been advertised as wearing in the Hawkeye Disney+ series.

No news has been shared on whether those requests will be met by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix as of yet. In the meantime, Black Widow’s Avengers: Infinity War outfit will officially become available as a purchasable skin when it releases in Marvel’s Avengers‘ Marketplace tomorrow.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
