A devoted Honkai: Star Rail player manages to reach Trailblaze Level 70 after spending several hours playing the popular space-fantasy RPG. In Honkai: Star Rail, players may steadily increase their Trailblaze Level by progressing the main story, completing side quests, and participating in limited-time events and challenges.
Like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail will regularly receive new updates and content from developer HoYoverse. This past July, Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 introduced more main story missions for players who have met the required Trailblaze Level and completed all story missions from Version 1.1. Trailblaze Level requirements increase further into the main story, and players may be prompted to complete activities such as Adventure Missions and Simulated Universe worlds if their current level is too low. Fortunately, Honkai: Star Rail has plenty of content available to those wanting to reach the current max Trailblaze Level, and future updates will continue to offer sources of XP and rewards.
Honkai: Star Rail player JetSetHan recently leveled up to Trailblaze Level 70, which is the current max level in Version 1.2. JetSetHan appears to have been playing the game nearly every day since its launch on April 26, but the user did not share exact methods for reaching Trailblaze Level 70 this soon in Honkai: Star Rail. The player’s feat fueled speculation about a potential max Trailblaze Level increase in a future update, however. Some fans believe that HoYoverse may increase the level cap due to the game’s Trailblaze Level description, reading that level 70 is a “current” maximum unlike Genshin Impact’s Adventure Rank description, which reads that Adventure Rank 60 is the permanent level cap.
Currently, Honkai: Star Rail players may obtain Trailblaze EXP from numerous in-game sources including Trailblaze story missions, Adventure Missions, daily activities, and Simulated Universe worlds. Moreover, Trailblaze EXP may be earned by opening treasure chests and consuming Trailblaze Power. In the early portion of Honkai: Star Rail’s main story, players may also quickly gain Trailblaze Levels by farming Golden Calyx activities.
Reaching Trailblaze Level 70 in Honkai: Star Rail requires dedication due to the vast amount of EXP needed for a single level up in the 60 to 70 range. Some users note that natural Trailblaze Level XP gains tend to plateau around level 66 near the end of Version 1.2’s story, requiring them to farm activities longer in order to level up once more. Future updates will likely introduce more sources of EXP, so more time may need to pass before HoYoverse considers increasing the level cap.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 launches near the end of the month, so players have a few weeks left to complete the game’s current lineup of events after catching up with the main story. Although a level cap increase is not confirmed for the new update, the total Trailblaze Power limit is being increased to 240, allowing players to farm more Calyx and Simulated Universe activities for additional Trailblaze Level EXP gains.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation 5 version launches in Q4 2023.
