Some recent Honkai: Star Rail leaks have revealed assets from Acheron, providing players with a glimpse into her in-game design. Acheron is one of Honkai: Star Rail‘s Penacony-based characters that will reportedly make her playable debut in version 2.0 in 2024. Not many details are leaked about her kit and backstory, but some fans theorize that she will be revealed as the reincarnation of Herrscher of Thunder from Honkai Impact 3rd.

Honkai: Star Rail appears to be gearing up to introduce a roster of Penacony-themed characters that have their own unique kit and belong to different paths. As per leaks, a total of nine gacha banners, including Gallagher and Boothill, will arrive in the Penacony world next year. This destination will allegedly be home to many NPCs and characters that contribute to the ongoing storyline. Little is known about Honkai: Star Rail‘s Planet of Festivities, except for leaks that claim it will have a unique design that reminds old French cities.

A pair of Honkai: Star Rail leaks from c2tr have given insight into Acheron’s model, revealing that she has a type of slashing motion. The character looks like a swordswoman who can dash forward to deal damage and change her outfit color under certain circumstances.

These leaks show two variants of Acheron, revealing that she wears long pants and a flowing dress. In terms of color palette and overall design, her purple variant bears a striking resemblance to Genshin Impact‘s Raiden Shogun. Acheron’s red variant, on the other hand, has white hair, a black dress, shorter pants, and multicolored shoes.

Honkai: Star Rail players on Reddit theorized that she changes her outfit and hair color during the ultimate animation. Some also speculated that her red form may be a combat stance, during which the character either debuffs enemies or gains an ATK bonus. As for Acheron’s rarity, it was previously leaked that she will be a five-star Lightning unit that hails from the Path of Nihility. Judging by her leaked gameplay assets, the upcoming swordswoman will likely fill the DPS role for her team.

Aside from Acheron, Honkai: Star Rail version 2.0 will supposedly mark the debut of other Penacony characters, Misha and Sparkle. Some recent leaks revealed that Misha will be a four-star Ice unit, while Sparkle will have a unique set that revolves around healing abilities. In version 2.0, there will also be a non-Penacony character named Black Swan, who can deal a certain amount of Wind damage to adjacent enemies. According to the leaked schedule, they will become available in mid-December.
