Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown and Tactical Ops Event Dates Leak

The dates for two of Halo Infinite’s upcoming multiplayer events, Cyber Showdown and Tactical Ops, leak, plotting out more of the game’s first season.

Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer events have been a major point of content so far in the game’s early livelihood. Two of Halo Infinite‘s upcoming events are Cyber Showdown and Tactical Ops, and fans may now know just when they will be able to jump into them.

Since Halo Infinite‘s multiplayer launch in November, 343 Industries has run two events: the first week of Fracture: Tenrai and the holiday-themed Winter Contingency. The studio was met with many disgruntled fans during the first week of Fracture: Tenrai however, citing the event’s lack of meaningful rewards and restrictions on progression. Fracture: Tenrai has returned with changes though, with 343 Industries modifying the reward structure in order for players to have a more enjoyable experience. As the major event of Halo Infinite multiplayer’s first season, Fracture: Tenrai is expected to appear multiple times through the season’s end in May.

GAMERANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Reputable Halo Infinite leaker HaloNoticiasMX on Twitter has leaked a roadmap for the rest of Season 1, containing the dates for the Cyber Showdown and Tactical Ops events. According to HaloNoticiasMX, the former synthwave-inspired event is set for the last two weeks of January, running from January 18, 2022 to Januray 31, 2022. As for the latter event, Tactical Ops will start on February 8, 2022 and end on February 21, 2022, giving players two weeks to earn the Mark 5 Zeta helmet amongst other cosmetics. It is currently unknown how progression will work in these events, but considering they will be available for the same duration as the Winter Contingency event, chances are players will probably only be able to unlock one item a day.

Also included in HaloNoticasMX’s roadmap are the dates for the remaining weeks of Fracture: Tenrai. While many fans thought that some of the changes 343 Industries was going to make would affect the event’s availability, it seems Fracture: Tenrai is maintaining its original six week plan. Obviously, Week 2 of the event ends next week on January 10, 2022, with Weeks 3 and 4 running from February 1 to the Februrary 7, and the February 22 to the February 28 respectively. After some wait, Weeks 5 and 6 will conclude Fracture: Tenrai in April, Week 5 being March 29 to April 4, and Week 6 being Apriul 19 to April 25.

Attentive fans will notice a sizable gap in Halo Infinite‘s event lineup, it being the month of March. Players will go from the end of Fracture: Tenrai Week 4 on February 28 to the start of Week 5 on March 29 without participating in any events. Considering many players have already maxed out the Halo Infinite Battle Pass, unless 343 Industries announces another surprise Event, March may be a dry month content-wise.

Halo Infinite is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
