God of War Ragnarok Leak Seemingly Reveals Odin Character Model

God of War Ragnarok is easily one of the most anticipated titles of the fall, despite little being known, but one leak claims to reveal Odin’s model.

For many fans, Elden Ring has already cinched the Game of the Year award (at The Game Awards and other places), but many think it may have one huge competitor: God of War Ragnarok. This highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive recently received a November 9 release date, and given that both FromSoftware and Santa Monica Studios’ last games won the GOTY at The Game Awards, it could be a real battle this year—depending on how it all unfolds, of course.

Although there was a release date announcement and a teaser for Fenrir’s appearance in God of War Ragnarok, there hasn’t been much shown off in terms of gameplay and not much even shown off lately. Fans know Kratos and Atreus are trying to prevent Ragnarok, and somehow Tyr, Fenrir, Angrboda, Freya, and Thor are all involved. Many are also anticipating the appearance of Odin in the game or a trailer, especially after his ravens were potentially teased in another trailer, but neither hide nor hair of him has been officially shown.

However, there are rumors of a number of God of War Ragnarok leaks out there, following the recent Last of Us Part 1 leaks. There was allegedly a security issue that some fans were able to manipulate and access, but nothing about God of War Ragnarok has appeared online since this supposedly occurred, until now. Recently, “retired” leaker AethesticGamer/Dusk Golem, who is largely known for horror and Resident Evil leaks, shared a character model of Odin. Since this is not official information, this should be taken with a grain of salt, but for anyone who wants to see it themselves, click HERE.

There was some discussion about Odin’s appearance and seemingly some surprise that he is not a man-among-men powerful God being like Zeus. Indeed, just as God of War Ragnarok‘s interpretation of Thor threw some folks off, it seems Odin’s appearance—if this is legit—may do the same. He seems like a very fragile figure, almost monk-like in stature from what can be seen, and at first glance, his appearance is very unassuming. It’s likely Kratos and Atreus encounter him without believing he is the leader of the Norse Gods.

However, this largely fits into Odin’s mythology too. Even though God of War has never followed mythology 1:1, instead being inspired by it, it’s an interesting take on the powerful god nontheless.

God of War Ragnarok releases on November 9 for PS4 and PS5.
