Two of Genshin Impact‘s defining features are exploration and unique character designs, both visually and lore-wise. These features, among others, have helped make Genshin Impact one of the most popular titles in 2021.
With character designs being such a big draw of the game, it makes sense that new character additions create a lot of hype for each update. The official Genshin Impact 2.4 Livestream event has confirmed two new polearm characters, Shenhe and Yun Jin, and fans are understandably excited.
There have been multiple leaks and rumors about Yae Miko, who’s quickly become one of the most popular characters in the game since her introduction in two update previews. A recent leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has apparently revealed the in-game screenshot for Yae Miko ahead of the character’s officially confirmed release date of update 2.5.
Previous leaks have revealed a lot of information about Yae Miko. One of the most credible Genshin Impact leakers named Tangzhu has revealed that Yae Miko does not use the usual DPS artifact set with a focus on the three main stats: Attack, Elemental Damage, and Critical rate/damage. The same leaker has been one of the first to predict the arrival of the new region Enkanomiya.
She has also been rumored to be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, on par with Hu Tao, Xiao, and Ganyu. Another Genshin Impact leak has revealed four out of six constellations for this character:
- C1: Every time Heavenly Fox triggers a Lethal Sakura Thunderbolt, Yae Recovers 7 Energy
- C2: Lethal Sakura cooldown is reduced by 20% and its AoE is increased by 100%
- C4: All teammates receive a 20% electro damage buff for five seconds after Yae’s Lethal Sakura triggers Heavenly Fox
- C6: When a Lethal Sakura is created, its initial level is raised to two and its maximum level is increased by four. These attacks will ignore 45% of enemies Defense.
When it comes to her boss materials, the leak confirms that she will be using talent ascensions dropped by La Signora. Even though she was rumored to be released alongside another popular character, the long-awaited Kamisato Ayato, it seems like miHoYo decided to delay his arrival once again. His fans have been excited over the past couple of days as the official Arataki Itto teaser video included a couple of Ayato’s voice lines. This is usually the way miHoYo announces that a new character will become playable in the foreseeable future.
Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, and a Nintendo Switch version in development.
