A Genshin Impact player has shared two charts that can help players in their daily grind to gather the required items for their favorite characters. So far, HoYoverse has introduced over 70 characters to the game with the Hydro catalysts user Neuvillette being the most recent addition.
Building up a character from scratch in Genshin Impact can be a very tedious task especially since the game runs on an energy-based system which in this case is called Resin. This system puts a limit on the players’ daily grind which is why it can take tens or even hundreds of hours to ascent a character to level 90 and equip them with the right weapons and artifacts.
A Reddit user named Keeekx has shared two very helpful charts that Travelers can use to plan out their farming sessions. The game has multiple Weekly Boss Domains which usually feature a powerful boss fight. They are called Weekly Domains because players can collect the rewards of one specific domain only once per week. Travelers usually enter these instances to get precious boss drop materials that are used to level up the characters’ talents. Increasing talent levels are crucial to a character’s performance on the field and while some characters like Venti don’t need too many investments, others like Hu Tao, Ayaka, or any other DPS prefer to have their talents maxed out, so they can fulfill their damage potential.
Most of the recently added Fontaine characters use Talent materials that are dropped in the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis domain which can be found in the Sumeru desert, right between the Girdle of the Sands and the Desert of Hadramaveth. Even the upcoming Cryo catalyst user Wriothesley uses the same materials. The recent Special Program event confirmed that Wriothesley will arrive in phase 2 of the current Genshin Impact version 4.1.
He will be the first Cryo catalyst character in the game which means that players will probably have to experiment when choosing the right team composition. This weapon and element combination will allow Wriothesley to apply Cryo with his Normal Attacks which could make him the go-to DPS for many different team compositions in Genshin Impact that need this element.
Recent rumors have been hinting that the upcoming update 4.2 could introduce a map expansion and players can probably expect new boss domains which could drop materials used for leveling Furina. The Hydro Archon has already been confirmed to arrive in Genshin Impact version 4.2, however, there is no information if she will be placed on the first or the second banner cycle.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
