Genshin Impact Clip Shows What Hu Tao Looks Like When Not Holding Weapons

A new Genshin Impact video shows a glitch featuring the popular Pyro user, Hu Tao, holding an invisible weapon on the character menu.

Genshin Impact allows players to go on various adventures through the beautiful world of Teyvat. In order to do so, they have to create their parties which consist of four different characters that can be chosen from a continually growing playable roster.

Various glitches have become a very common occurrence in Genshin Impact, though they don’t come as a surprise to most players considering that the game keeps expanding with almost every new update. In fact, Players often take advantage those random bugs in order to capture special and unique moments.

A recent post on the popular Genshin Impact leaks subreddit shows a small glitch showing Hu Tao holding an invisible weapon. Even though the character description shows the polearm Haran Geppaku Futsu, the weapon still seems to be missing from Hu Tao’s hands. Fans absolutely loved this animation as the posted gathered over 14k upvotes, probably because the glitch gave the impression of Hu Tao giving a thumbs up.

She is the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor and this animation led a lot of fans theorizing that she might be coming for Bennett’s soul. This is due to the fact that Bennett’s elemental burst called Fantastic Voyage leaves a thumbs up sign on the ground. According to multiple replies in the comment section, this is apparently a common bug and once it occurs, it can display all characters holding an invisible weapon.

Hu Tao is a Pyro polearm user and one of the most popular characters in the game. She was considered to the best DPS character in Genshin Impact before developer HoYoverse introduced characters like Eula who can dish out seven figure damage numbers.

Hu Tao has a unique play style which requires players to learn a popular animation cancel technique on her Charged Attack which is her greatest source of damage. Players who want a strong Pyro DPS character with special mechanics should save their Primogems for her next banner re-run.

Currently, there are no official information nor credible leaks about when she might return on a limited banner. According to multiple rumors, the two five-star characters that will arrive in the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.7 are Arataki Itto and Yelan, who has already been confirmed to be the next new character to arrive to the playable roster. The fact that Hu Tao’s last banner appearance was back in Genshin Impact 2.2 means that she could arrive in Version 2.8 which is rumored to be the last update of the whole Inazuma arc.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
