Character rumors are very common in Genshin Impact and usually create a lot of hype for characters who are still in development yet. One great example of this is Kamisato Ayato, who has been mentioned in multiple voice lines in Genshin Impact.
The addition of new Genshin Impact characters helps build excitement for each new update, as they are one of the game’s main features. While version 2.4 has not arrived yet, new leaks have already revealed information about it. Further, the official Genshin impact Social media accounts have already confirmed Yae Miko as the new playable character.
Previous leaks and rumors have revealed some information about one of the most popular upcoming characters, Kamisato Ayato. This particular leak was originally taken from the website ngabbs before it was taken down by the mods. Thankfully, the comment section on the Reddit thread has provided an accurate translation. The picture apparently reveals Ayato’s Elemental Skill and Burst description.
- Elemental Skill (E) – When Ayato’s Elemental Skill is activated at the same he’s attacked by an enemy, he gains a stack of “Kendo Pose”
- Elemental Burst (Q) – Ayato performs a plunge attack draining a stack of Kendo Pose. The leak recommends that his Burst is used when he has at least three stacks
The only confirmed information about this character is that he is the head of the Kamisato clan. The majority of the Genshin Impact community thought that it was Ayaka who was pulling the strings in the Kamisato clan, though the recent story quests have revealed that it’s actually Ayato who works in the background and assumes the leadership tasks for the clan to remain powerful. Previous leaks have been hinting that Ayato will be a Hydro character, meaning that he could have great synergy with his sister Ayaka who has a unique playstyle. Ayato is also expected to be a sword user, which would make him the second Hydro sword character after Xingqiu.
He will most likely be a new five-star character arriving after update 2.5, which will feature the fan-favorite character Yae Miko. Ayato fans have been bursting with joy over the past couple of days, as the new Arataki Itto character teased included a couple of Ayato’s voice lines. This is usually the way miHoYo announces that a new character will become playable in the foreseeable future, giving fans good reason to be excited.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
