Since its initial launch back in October, Far Cry 6 has cultivated an incredible amount of popularity. With expansive, vibrant environments, a cacophony of different weapons and equipment to select from, and various NPCs for players to interact with, Far Cry 6 certainly has a lot to offer its player base. Now, it seems, players will be receiving even more content to enjoy within the game.
Right before Far Cry 6 was released, it was revealed that the DLC campaigns would feature playable Far Cry villains, but in addition to the DLC campaigns, additional content would also be made available periodically as the months went on. This latest piece of additional content has recently released and it features an iconic Hollywood actor that perfectly matches the tone and setting of Far Cry 6.
Over on YouTube, Ubisoft released a trailer that highlights a new mission in Far Cry 6 that features Danny Trejo. Ubisoft had accidentally released the Danny Trejo DLC mission back in November, but quickly patched it out. Now, players will once again be able to enjoy the mission in its entirety, in addition to a number of other pieces of content, such as a new vehicle.
It’s nice to see that Ubisoft has managed to provide additional content for players to enjoy long after the release of the base version of Far Cry 6. Following the Vaas Insanity DLC, players have had a lot of new content to look forward to, on top of the release of the Danny Trejo mission. A portion of which will undoubtedly add a fresh spin on the Far Cry formula.
One piece of DLC content that Far Cry 6 players have been looking forward to trying is the Stranger Things crossover DLC. It will be interesting to see how Ubisoft manages to splice Far Cry mechanics into a Stranger Things setting and if the DLC somehow relates back to what occurs within the world of Far Cry 6.
In any case, there’s certainly a lot of exciting things on the horizon as far as Far Cry 6 is concerned. The upcoming Pagan Min: Control DLC will have players returning to the world and story of Far Cry 4. While Pagan Min tends to get outshined by Vaas, many players cited Pagan Min as being one of the best aspects of Far Cry 4, so hopefully the DLC campaign shines new light on the character.
