Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a popular battle royale game developed by Mediatonic and published by Devolver Digital that has garnered a strong fanbase since its release. Due to its growing popularity, Fall Guys has had several crossovers with other familiar video games and properties. Now, a crossover with Bugsnax is on the horizon
In December, Fall Guys had a crossover with Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. The crossover added new costumes into the game that were based on several characters from the film, including the main characters Jack Skellington and Sally. Most of the crossovers resulted in players having access to new costumes to customize their bean characters, and another crossover for Fall Guys is just around the corner.
A recent trailer revealed that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is crossing over with Bugsnax, an adventure video game developed and published by Young Horses where players explore an island to find and capture edible bug creatures. The trailer showed off the game’s premise in the video’s opening scene with a bean trying to capture what looked like a bug in the bushes, but it was another bean wearing a costume.
The trailer shows a new Bugsnax costume arriving in Fall Guys called Filbo Fiddlepie, based on the Mayor of Snaxburg. The trailer shows that the Filbo Fiddlepie costume can be a complete set for players to have their bean wear in the game. Both the upper half of the Filbo Fiddlepie costume and the lower half will cost 5 Crowns each.
The second costume is the Bunger Hat that many beans are shown wearing in the trailer. The hat can be worn by beans with any other costume on the lower half, as shown in the trailer. Compared to the Filbo costume’s total cost of 10 Crowns, the Bunger Hat costume will only cost players 5 Crowns in Fall Guys. The new Bugsnax costumes will be available in Fall Guys for a limited time from Saturday, January 8 to Tuesday, January 11.
This news comes following the Fall Guys Guestravaganza event late last year, which made costumes from previous collaborations available to players for the holidays. The event lasted from December 28 to January 3, where each day had a new costume made available for players for a limited time, including the Cuphead, Shovel Knight, the Nier Automata 2B skin, and more. Now that the event is over, players have another Fall Guys crossover to start 2022 with new costumes for their beans to wear.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC and PS4 with versions for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S currently in development.
