Elden Ring Clip Shows Godskin Noble Rolling to Its Own Death

An Elden Ring player gets a quick victory over the Godskin Noble boss when one of its most frustrating attacks ends up going horribly wrong.

Elden Ring is a game full of difficult enemies and bosses that the player has to face in order to finish the story. From giant, extraterrestrial bug creatures like Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, to the undefeated test of strength that is Malenia, Blade of Miquella, Elden Ring’s bosses have various ways in which they can kill the player. One of the most frustrating boss attacks for many Elden Ring players is the Godskin Noble’s roll, which covers a huge amount of space and gives the Tarnished little room to dodge and barely enough time to heal.

While one fan found a trick to dodge Godskin Noble attacks in Elden Ring, this hasn’t stopped the roll attack from being a devastating one that has been the death of many players. As the Godskin Noble leaps into the air and inflates its own body, many know that this will lead to around twenty seconds of panicked dodging only to get smacked by the giant hitbox. However, even as this attack is incredibly frustrating for the player, it can also prove to be the Godskin Noble’s own downfall.

Reddit user Willchelmm managed to capture the moment a Godskin Noble manufactures its own defeat in a short clip. The Noble does its usual move of jumping up into the air to begin its roll and charges the player. Then when it veers around to attack again, it throws itself off a bridge. Willchelmm said they definitely wouldn’t be complaining about the easy victory, and many players in the comments wished they’d had the same luck when fighting the Godskin Noble boss in Elden Ring.

It is important to note that Willchelmm was fighting the Godskin Noble located on the bridge leading to the Divine Tower of Liurnia, which is an open area where the boss can fall to its death. The Godskin Noble in Elden Ring’s Volcano Manor cannot be defeated as easily due to the fact there’s no place for it to roll off, meaning an Elden Ring player will have to beat that boss through skill alone.

Willchelmm’s luck has even been described by some as a great cheesing tactic for defeating the Godskin Noble easily. To cheese a boss in Elden Ring or another FromSoftware title is to beat them in a manner that usually involves some sort of exploit to create a simple victory. A lot of fans look down on those who use cheeses to beat bosses, but for any who are having severe difficulty, these methods may be the only option.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
