Domino’s launched its Emergency Pizzas for Student Loans promotion for anyone currently paying off a student loan debt. The offer is only open to US residents and those within the District of Columbia, with $1 million worth of pizza orders to give away.
The Emergency Pizzas for Student Loans is an extension of Domino’s already-existing Emergency Pizza initiative, where anyone can submit an order for a free pie with their Domino’s accounts. Its reason is solely on the “uncertainty in the world right now,” and the company knows its customers could use a little pick-me-up. Anyone can qualify for the free food, though they must be a Rewards member to do so. While just about any customer can call in for a free pie from Domino’s Pizza, students can utilize a separate program if they’re looking to take advantage of an Emergency Pizza.
In an effort to ease students in the US of the pain of paying off student loans, Domino’s is offering a new share of Emergency Pizzas specifically for anyone with student loan debt. Eligibility merely applies to these individuals, except for those who work for the Domino’s Pizza corporation. Qualified individuals will only need to submit a request via email by going to the Emergency Pizza for Student Loans link, requiring information such as full name, school attended, and year of graduation. From there, Domino’s will email eligible participants to authenticate the process. The promotion will run until November 9, 2023.
The Emergency Pizza promotion is limited to one per person while supplies last. $1 million in Emergency Pizzas are being given away, with $186,000 worth consumed at the time of writing. The pie itself is a medium 2-topping pizza. According to the terms of the promotion, the odds of reserving an offer are 1:67,205. It’s clear that there’s a set amount for the pizzas, with a daily limit cutting off the free flow of food after the minimum amount of 4,200 has been reached.
The US is enduring a student loan crisis, with the Biden Administration working to create loan forgiveness across the country. As the issues with repayments continue to juggle around Congress, individuals can take a breather with a free Emergency Pizza from Domino’s. Paying off bills is stressful enough, and there’s no telling when the loan repayment problem will be fixed. Therefore, it’s best to embrace opportunities such as the Emergency Pizzas that almost anyone can grab.
