Conan O’Brien is back with another installment of his Clueless Gamer series, where he plays through a section in Starfield alongside his long-time collaborator and friend Aaron Bleyaert. The Clueless Gamer series is a popular web series that first appeared on television when Conan O’Brien was still on the air with his late-night talk show Conan. Since then, his focus has been directed more toward streaming platforms, with his notable podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend, inviting a variety of guests, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sir Patrick Stewart, and Werner Herzog, just to name a few. In fact, there are 17 podcasts to listen to on Team Coco, each offering something different and unique. While O’Brien’s focus has been more dependent on podcasts for Team Coco, the former host of Late Night is bringing back his Clueless Gamer comedy segment after a year-long absence with some Starfield gameplay featuring a named NPC.

In a sneak peek for an upcoming Clueless Gamer episode, Conan O’Brien and Aaron “Bley” Bleyaert sit in front of a Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV with Starfield on the screen. O’Brien takes control of the activity, steering a ship in space while providing commentary with Bleyaert. The footage shows O’Brien coming into contact with a lonely ship in space dubbed “Grandma.” As soon as Bleyaert points out the named spacecraft, O’Brien asks if they could blow it up. After chuckling at the thought, Bleyaert asks if O’Brien wishes to speak with the “Grandma” ship. He refuses to do so, thus proceeding to destroy the lonesome ship. The space Grandma in Starfield fires back before O’Brien can successfully take them out. “I just blew up a grandmother! She did nothing to me! But you know what, it costs so much to, you know – elder care is so expensive!” The clip ends with Bleyaert asking if O’Brien wishes to look through the ship’s wreckage. “No, it’s going to be a lot of yarn,” he responded.

The last episode of Clueless Gamer premiered nearly a year ago on November 18, 2022, when O’Brien played Deathloop, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and PowerWash Simulator. O’Brien was also joined by Bleyaert to provide additional commentary as he showed him the three different titles. The episode was supplemented by a separate outtakes video, one that is provided for other Clueless Gamer episodes.

It seems that fans can expect the series to come back in full force, as hinted by the “#CluelessGamer is back!” caption with the video. The sneak peek can be viewed now through the Team Coco TikTok account, which also shares snippets from the website’s podcasts. The full episode with O’Brien and Bleyaert playing Starfield will drop soon.
